Beta Testing Notice
Please read the following information before using SNAPBRIFY. This document outlines what the platform does, how your data is handled, and the current limitations of the beta environment.
01. What is SNAPBRIFY?
SNAPBRIFY is a browser-based PBR (Physically Based Rendering) texture generation tool. Upload any photograph and the engine automatically derives a complete set of material maps — Base Color, Roughness, Ambient Occlusion, Height, Metallic, and Normal — ready to use in any 3D application, game engine, or design pipeline. No software installation is required; everything runs in your browser. You can try the whole maker flow — capture, crop, tune, generate every channel, and download the set — completely free, with no account. A free account is only needed to save projects to the cloud and to use the AI features.
02. Beta Status
The platform is currently in open beta. You may encounter unexpected behaviour, performance inconsistencies, or temporary downtime as we continue development. We appreciate your patience and welcome any feedback sent through the Contact page.
03. Privacy & Data Collection
We are committed to keeping this tool lightweight and non-intrusive. During the beta period:

We collect only what's needed. We never sell or share your personal data. To run your account we store your email and an encrypted (hashed) password; your cloud projects auto-delete after 48 hours. Source photos are processed in your browser and never uploaded. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Uploaded images are temporary. All uploaded files and generated texture sets are automatically deleted from our servers 48 hours after the project is created. Do not rely on SNAPBRIFY as a permanent storage solution.
04. Current Limits & Fair Use
Local generation and downloads are always free and unlimited. The limits below apply only to cloud storage and AI, which require a free account:
Source photos up to 50 MB (JPG / PNG / TIFF). Channel maps are exported as lossless PNG.
All projects and generated files are permanently deleted 48 hours after creation.
Up to 20 projects stored in the cloud at once — delete one to free a slot. Generating textures and downloading them to your computer is always unlimited and free; only cloud storage counts toward this limit.
There is no daily upload quota — generate textures whenever you like.
05. Retention & Slots
There is no daily reset or quota — you can generate textures at any time.
Each account keeps up to 20 projects simultaneously, and every project is automatically removed 48 hours after it is created. To free a slot sooner, delete an old project from your Projects page.
06. Disclaimer
SNAPBRIFY is provided as-is during the beta period. We do not guarantee continuous availability, accuracy of generated materials, or preservation of uploaded files beyond the stated 48-hour window. By using the platform, you acknowledge these limitations and agree not to use it for storing irreplaceable assets.
07. AI Features
A free account unlocks AI tools that run on our servers. Creating and downloading textures locally never needs AI and stays free and unlimited — these features are optional add-ons.

AI text-to-material generation Describe a surface in words and the engine paints a seamless, top-down PBR material swatch. Standard image models are free for every logged-in user — each prompt returns 4 variants, about 100 images per day per account. The premium FLUX.2 Klein model is reserved for Premium accounts.

AI seam repair One click fills the tiling seam so the texture wraps cleanly. Free for every logged-in user — each repair counts as 1 image toward your daily 100. It only repaints the seam band, not the whole image.

Works in any language Prompts are auto-translated to English on our server before generation, so you can describe a material in Chinese (or any language) and still get a usable result. Your original photos never leave your device.
